When is Vega Due?

WCCFTech is a rumor site. This might be correct, it might also be completely wrong. AMD said 1H 2017 so I suggest you stick to that. If you can't wait that long get a 1080. CES 2017 is in 3 months, we might not more by then. If the card is really coming end of the year we will probably know it...

RX 480 seem to be selling like hot cakes.

Even if there is a 1 card per customer policy, that can be avoided by anyone who is willing to get more. You can buy cards at different vendors, you can get other people to buy them for you. There is a reason why this is not enforced, it's meaningless restriction which can be easily avoided.

Same number of ACE's in the 480. They grouped up 2 ACE's and called them HWS. 1 HWS = 2 ACE. 4ACE + 2HWS = 8 ACE total.

Computerbase did a test with undervolting the card, big drop in power usage while the performance drops just a little.

Will we learn something about Vega this week?

We actually don't know which Vega will have HBM2. Sure, the big one for certain, but the small one could have GDDR5X and thus could come out this year as some rumors suggested. But yea, I don't think we will see HBM2 this year except in the very limited P100 from NVidia.

Please don't use google translate. It doesn't say "is at the level of a R9 390X" it says "should be at the level of a R9 390X".

Where do those rumors come from? The roadmap has probably Vega at a higher performance per watt due to HBM2 being more power efficient than GDDR5. Vega 10 and 11 are simply bigger versions of Polaris that also come with HBM2 or GDDRX5. It's very unlikely there are architecture differences...

The 51%/98% GPU usage dilemma

Keep in mind that the 480 was CPU bottlenecked with single and medium batches so the game probably doesn't have any Polaris optimizations as was mentioned in the AMD event.
