Changing to a 9800 Pro from TI 4200

Hi, I have read several times about Nvidia registry problems when changing to ATI cards. Would someone please give me a link to a good utility that would help with this? Thanks, Nolan

Question about Dells

I have a P4 3.06 533FSB sitting in an Abit IS7 which supports the 800FSB P4s, and I was thinking about dropping that into a Dell 4600, with a 3.0 P4 800FSB next time they offer the free upgrade to a LCD. On the old Gateway, the Bios did not support anything besides the processor that came with...

Question about Dells

Reason I asked is that I remember my dad's old gateway can not change processors, he is stuck with like a Athlon 650. I wanted to swap it out, but when I looked around, it did not appear to be possible. Nolan

Can the CPU be changed in a Dell system? I was thinking about jumping on one of those crazy Dell deals that seem to be floating about all the time, and then swapping out the processor into my machine and dropping the processor that I have now into the machine and selling it. Whatcha think...

Question about Notebook memory

How hard is it to upgrade the vid card in a laptop?

I kinda thought that it might be impossible/tough, but I wanted to see what people thought. So the Radeon 9000 mobility chips are integrated into the motherboard? Nolan

COMPUTER CRASHING!! I NEED HELP!!

I had this similar problem with a build that I did with an Asus P4B533-VM and a cheap Maxtop case. It ended up being the freakin memory, try using some different memory sticks and see if that fixes the problem. Nolan
