Core2, do you have a copy of the beta clockgen that will work with this board? It doesn't appear to be on the cpuid site anymore. *EDIT* Nevermind, I found it. It's out of beta now. The new version has support for 650i.

Did you see it's fixed now? It won't take over 2.1v, that was the problem. I managed to OC to 820 5-5-5-8 trc8 2t PNY Optima 2gb 533

Ok, fixed the ram issue. Apparently this ram will not boot above 2.2volts. Running it at 2.1 and it clocks to 750. I'm satisfied.

Hey thanks for the welcome! Ok, so I am not officially stable yet at 3.5 but am dual superpi/orthos 20min no errors stable :b My ram is giving me problems, it's rated at 533 but it won't boot above 650, even though I've clocked it to 750 before on a different board. It doesn't boot OC'ed...

Ok, just got this board today. Running an e6300 and a Tuniq Tower. Booted at 500fsb - 3.5ghz but not stable enough to run pi. I'm going to do some more tweaks and run some benches tomorrow.

Weird. I'd update the bios to 2.1 if you haven't. Then I'd try drivercleaner to get rid of old display drivers, then install Omega display drivers. See if that fixes it.

Weird. If your mouse works on other boards without problems, it's obviously your mobo. I did have the same problem with a Rosewill usb keyboard (actually still having problems with it) where it turns off every once in a while. Have to restart to fix it. Happened at home (775dualvsta) and on...

The bios only lists 667 and 533 so it will slow it down to those speeds. It will probably work, but just at slower speeds.

Sounds like your system is freezing. Can you use your keyboard when this happens? Are you overclocking? Are you using an SATA drive? I got the same problem after installing my SATA drive. I fixed the issue by turning vlink speed to normal, and reducing my PCI speed to 100 (default), plus IDE...

If you can afford an 8800, you should probably spend more than $50 on a mobo IMHO. Will the PCI-4 severely limit your performance? Probably not although no one has tested it yet, as far as I'm aware of. People on here are still getting respectable scores via the PCI-4.
