Question Best cpu air cooler for 3950x no oc + video work?

I'm looking to upgrade my cpu cooler for my 3950. I was thinking of the Deepcool AS500 but that doesn't seem to be available. Looking at Noctua NH-U12S I'd prefer to spend around $50 but can go more if needed. My primary workload is video rendering so I will be using all the cores. No OC...

Question Ryzen 3950 + Geforce 3090 but low performance on Blackmagic RAW speedtest? Is it the Mobo?

I have a Gigabyte x370 Gaming 5 with the latests bios pairing with a 3950 + Geforce 3090. I upgraded the 3950 from a 1700 and the 3090 from a 1080ti. The performance in 3Dmark Timespy is fast but in Blackmagic RAW (a speed test for a video codec) it's barely 20% more than my old build...

So I'd like to use a NAS that's under $500 (without HDD, I plan on puttting the 8TB reds in) that can work as a headless device to upload my archived projects/files onto my crashplan pro account. Looking for 2 bay but 4 would be preferable. Is there a device you guys would recommend? I'm open...

No that's what I was saying. The desktop raid would be in the desktop. And another raid for the NAS. 2 different RAID setups And I might go emptying the synology for later expansion. Thanks!

It'll be a majority of personal projects and compressed files. I'll be deleting the raw ones right after (unless the client pays me for archiving).

Perfect! Thanks Sean. Cost is a factor but essentially There's the archive raid and then there's the desktop raid. I'd like them to be separate.
