Really? Do you guys treat everyone on this forum as if they're retards? Or am I just the special one?

It looks...
Are they legit? The seller has 99.5% positive feedback and has sold 30+ copies so far. Where did he get them? They're W7 Pro COA with a Dell hard drive. Will this work for my custom Gigabyte/Intel PC?
Full support/updates from Microsoft or?
Any other option for a sub $40 license?
I've had...
Hello, I have a lot of devices using Wi-Fi and I'm currently just using the built-in Wi-Fi capability of the Xfinity Arris 682 telephony modem.
I and have an old Cisco Linksys e1200 lying around that I'd like to add to the Arris for additional Wi-Fi bandwidth.
How do I go about doing this...
Okay, excuse my lack of understanding in the GPU arena.
I have a Zotac GTX 460 1gb OC edition and came across a Sapphire HD 6970 2gb Dual-X for cheap last month (of course; it's an old card).
I was assuming it would spank on my even older GTX 460...but it doesn't seem to. In the few games...
Since it's not a "K" I guess I won't be overclocking, but is that the quickest memory that this processor can use? Or would there be a performance boost with faster rated? (I'm totally new to modern hardware).
Also, since I won't be overclocking is the Z97 motherboard overkill for me? Should...
That was my exact thoughts.
But, I just pulled the trigger on a slickdeal, Intel Core i5-4590 + GIGABYTE 1150 Intel Z97 ATX Motherboard for $220 shipped. Now I just need 8gbs of DDR3...
Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for the replies and ideas.
I think I'll just try an e8600 for now and keep my eyes open on slickdeals the next few months.
Does anyone know why I can't access the "For Sale/Trade" section? I get this error message:
Noya21, you do not have permission to access this page. This...
Okay, so I built this PC way back at the end of 2008 with a Bing Cashback deal.
Q8200 (@ 3.15ghz) only a 7x multi
Xigmatek s1283 120mm cooler
Gigabyte P45-UD3P mobo
8gb Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 (only good to 890-900 I think, 450fsb)
GTX 460 1gb Zotac amped (or something, previous 9800gtx)
OCZ...
My only PC is the desktop I built in late 2008 with that Microsoft Bing cashback deal.
Q8200 (ugh) @ 3.15ghz via 445fsb
Gigabyte P45-UD3P
8gb (2gb x 4) Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 (limiting the OC...along with the x7 multi)
Xigmatek 120mm cooler...s1283 I think
550w OCZ modular PSU...
Hello, I've come to realize just how outdated my Q8200(@3.2ghz)/8gb/gtx460 is when I used a friends i3-2100/4gb/9800gtx.
I really don't play new games and or do much editing.
I came across a local electronics recycler that sells a lot of older systems. They had a lot of Q8200s, e8400s...
Thanks for all the replies everyone...unfortunately I was impatient and accidentally wiped it.
Luckily, I had a spare PC to use and was able to save personal data off C: after it wouldn't boot.
Learned my lesson lol.
