Thought: 1) Buy Xbox360(1), pay $300, receive $50 GC(1) 2) Buy Xbox360(2), pay $50 GC(1) + $250. Receive $50 GC(2) 3) Return Xbox360(1) and GC(2). End result: You keep the 2nd Xbox360, having spent $250 + tax on $300.

Verbatim DVD-R 100PK 4.7GB 16X

The difference is that Verbatims are generally better quality discs than RiData. So it may be the case of getting what you pay for, especially if the discs are meant to play back on finicky older DVD players, or to be stored for extended periods of time....

The major benefit is the 24P input capability. Makes the slow panning shots smooth like they are in the movies, instead of jerky like they are at 60 fps (since every other frame is shown for 1.5 times longer to make 24 FPS film fit into 60 fps broadcast)

I have just switched away from PowerUsenet in favor of Newsdemon. Powerusenet works very well, but their pricing policy for the intro months is a little byzantine - it's $9.99 per month for the first two months, IF you pay for at least one month at $14.95. So, essentially, it's $14.95 for one...

It's true 1080P because it has enough pixels to display 1920x1080 content. I.E. is physically capable of displaying 1080Pcontent without rescaling it. Because it's actually a little "taller" than true 1080P (1200 lines > 1080 lines), there will be thin letterbox lines (60 pixels high) above...

The X41 weighs 3.3 lbs, which is within an ounce of the 10" Asus 1000HA (3.2lbs, if I recall). 6 LBS is probably the shipping weight...

XBOX 360 Deal

On the other hand, an older Xbox 360 has a higher chance of not having a Lite-On DVD drive. If you're going to flash the drive to work with backups, all previous drives (Samsung, Hitachi, Benq) can be modified using nothing more than a computer and a bootable CD / thumb drive. Lite-On drives...
