    Looking for a MP3 player that plays CD discs, for around $30 (or less). I realize that RIO, Audiovox, and some other cheapo brands seem to have deals at some time or another. Can someone recommend which of those low-end brands is the best in terms of sound quality and reliability?

    Can anyone recommend a good deal for FULL SPECTRUM LIGHTING? It's a type of lighting that is supposed to mimic the light we get from the sun, which reduces glare and makes detail work easier on the eyes. I only know of Verilux and Ott-lite, but both systems cost almost $100 just for a desk...

    Regional DVD compatibility

    Similar to stand-alone DVD players, are laptops only able to play DVD's from the region they are bought in, or can laptops play DVD's from all regions of the world? Not sure if this is a software or a hardware issue, but I'm posting here. Thanks
