Enermax MODU82+ EMD525AWT 525W Modular Power Supply - 80 Plus Bronze certified

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817194035 Just ordered one for myself. I'm told this is one of the most efficient PSU's on the market. It's only 525 watts but it fits my bill perfectly. Oh, and shipping is free, too.

Interpreting power supply specs - Enermax MODU82+ 525 Watt

I'm considering this power supply for my upgrade: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817194035 ($69.99 after MIR...) I thought I had figured out how to read the amperage specs on power supplies but the specs on the 12 volt rails for this PSU have me completely baffled...

Ray was thinking along the same lines, too. Certainly is worth a try. Before I remove the MB from the case, I'll disconnect the reset switch leads from the MB header and give that theory a spin. Thx.

Interesting development. The wall outlet tests fine. Also, they ran a ground wire from the case to a water pipe and the same thing continues to happen. As long as Michelle grounds herself first, or at least lowers her electrical potential by touching some metal object first, like the big metal...
