"Xbox 720" will not be the name of the next Xbox for obvious reasons.

This is in your head only...like do you really think everyone has thoughts like you? I hear 720 I think of rotation, same with 360 by you rationalizing of nothing here we shouldn't have called it 360 because 360p was old when the xbox was released. I guess a 720 Kick flip is not extreme...

Bf3 is the only non PC only game listed that actually has more players on PC than on Xbox or Ps3, Mw3 the pc community is 1/10 of the Xbox community alone, day 1 PC black ops 2 30,000 people online...Xbox 750,000 people. Real data front page of the game, I play both and when you list 7 pc only...

Microsoft to Drop the Banner Hammer on Used Games With "Xbox 720"

This won't fly, DRM is in use by a lot of gaming companies and they aren't making money they are losing money from it. The legality issues alone with dominating and completely forcing people to be online when gaming will crush this. This might fly in KC where people can get 15Mbps internet...

BF3 - GTX680 Lightning/i7 3770k - Sluggish gameplay

First off battlefield 3 in terms of currently played games is not a bad cpu hog. GPU yes, but a 680 should be playable always @ 1080p. I'd first look into enabling Vsync, to cap at 60 this will prevent throttling problems and excessive drops(usually) as for heavy explosions, Idk man metro 64 is...

Halo 4 campaign is ... lacking something

You clearly played on some gimped difficulty, 5 hrs from beginning to end on legendary lol yea sure. #1 if you beat a game on easy medium hard and leave out the intended or insane difficulty level you didnt even play the game, you might as well have watched a youtube link of it.

Gamespot says XBox Live is garbage compared to PS+ and should be dumped next gen

They have had 2-3 dramatic revamps, each time coinciding w/ some type of security breach. It really comes down to you get what you pay for, in sony's case you are not paying for anything, so you get none of the Xbox live extras. Not to say PS3 is a bad console but PSN blows.

I first off would look at the tense of words and then put comprehension into play. Xbox held no comparisons w/ ps3 in terms of relevant and retail sales during the campaign years. The link you provided assuming 100% accurate and current still shows a decent lead especially in the U.S. Market...

I'd also ask according to whom does sony make one of the best TV's. LG and Samsung by far have the better televisions available, and roughly the same price and probably sometimes cheaper, I dont often see giant sony sales.

I'd have to agree, but w/ todays ever growing newb friendly games. It is nice to see something familiar. That aside solo legendary Halo 4 was a pain in the ass, much worse than solo halo 3.

Steam Box

It's like I said, the steam console, will not be a true gaming console. It will be an htpc w/ a linux variant and only running steams big picture. To enjoy any real PC titles no matter what Steam says you will need controller support, and or a mouse/keyboard. Steam will not be getting developers...
