Sorry I call BS. I also own a 1st Gen iPad (32GB GSM) and that was a slow craptastic device. I've also previously handled a Kindle Fire, iPad 2 and a Nexus 7. The N10 is smooth.
Also it depends on the app if it supports horizontal or vertical orientation. For example, the ESPN Score Center...
thanks for the replies. i'm hoping it's just a PSU and not a motherboard because of the extra work involved. it's odd since i had an older machine that was Folding on the same outlet, different surge protectors that didn't go down.
i thought i considered my OC mild seeing as i went from a...
the oddest thing happened this morning. i left my computer on overnight and when i woke up the next morning it was shut off. i tried pressing the power button and the blue light on my fan controller lit up briefly then died. i repeated the process and was greeted with the same result.
my room...
if you look at your responses in this thread, you can see that you gave them plenty of reasons to respond to you in that way. if your problem was solved, then great. there's no reason for you to act all pissy about the people that took the time to respond to your request for help.
have you seen the the Thermalright SI-120 instead of the XP-90C?

i would personally go for the Corsair ram. i'm more comfortable with their products and support.
as for the PSU, the Seasonic S12 has been...
i wouldn't have bothered getting a 360 or any other next gen gaming console if i didn't have an HD set to take advantage of all the eye candy. a waste imo.
yeah, but even then the fan noise is quite considerably more then the normal case fans you can get. i have a box fan like that, and it's too loud for me so i just use AC.
then again, what's loud for me, could be quiet for someone else.
when i had the 9500, my motherboard temps were lower then when i started using an SI-120. same setup, just different HSF.
and here's another vote for the SI-120. they made that to be compatible with more motherboards and ram. i have the Corsair 3500LL with the heatspreader and LED and i don't...
if it's not too much trouble, can someone take a picture of the area where they found their protective film. i'm going to have a look at mine and make sure i didn't miss anything. my motherboard temps are actually higher then my CPU temps when i switch from a Zalman 9500, to a SI-120.
glad you found a solution to your problem. :) what kind of ram are you running and what temps are you getting (CPU & motherboard) when you have it overclocked to your present speeds?
from my personal observations i believe the type of HSF you use effects the motherboard temperatures a lot. i originally had a Zalman 9500 and had the fan directly blowing out the rear exhaust fan. i would constantly get 33-36C motherboard temps via Speedfan. I switched out to a Thermalright...
