Anyone using an Apex or Supercase case? Sold as generic but appears to awesome to me and for a great price. <link>

My mom has the ATX 8500(the one in the upper left hand corner of that page)and it's pretty nice. The cases are everything you said and they dodn't cost a whole lot.

gerrick, you're right man, this would have never happened to an intel system...since they run on magic pixie dust, hopes, and dreams; not electricity, right? Oh, and did you know that intels run at a temp of absolute zero, the systems they are in never crash, and they can walk on water...yep...

Seems like the docSmarts thing to do would have been to unplug the rig since this is the first thing you do when you put your hands inside a computer...hard way to learn a lesson, damn hard way....and to believe you blame this whole mishap on an AMD setup, c'mon man...

Need a volt mod guide for KG7

I've got a KG7 with an XP1500+@1650@1.85v. If I volt mod the board, I'm sure I can get at least another 50 to 100Mhz out of this chip. Thing is, this would be my first volt mod, so I need a detailed guide with pics 'n stuff. Can any of you help me out here? Thanks

Seti Team Stats - 1:00 PM CST Update, Thursday, January 03, 2002

Hello all! I'm a new guy, joined the team on the 2nd. I started on the second with one Box(XP1500+@1650). Now I have a second(T-Bird 650)crunchin away. I'm so glad I switched to the CLI version cause it's soo much faster!!!

Speed of ATHLON XP 1600+

I think what he is saying is that he has a board that will take SDRAM and DDR...if he has the SDRAM will he be able to get a FSB of 133, or would he be getting into overclocking? I just read one of his earlier posts and I drew my conclusion from there. I may be wrong as I am not familiar with...

Look at this flippin XP1500+!!!

Check this out!! The above link shows my WCPUID from my latest OC on my system. I don't remember how to take a snap shot or else I'd show WCPUID and Prime runnin together. My rig consists of: KG7, 2400 Samsung DDR, Hecules 3D Prophet Kyro II, DSL Modem, Aureal Vortex 2500, and H2O coling...

Athlon reliability in discussion?

I think that all the retail shops are pulling the same BS...I went to one of the computer shows that comes here in Jacksonville,FL recently. I happened to hear a retailer and a guy(his customer) talkin about building a new box for the dude. He was going on and on about how the P4 totally out...

WCPUID in XP

I believe it was a zip file that unzipped into a new folder that I put on the desktop. I then installed it from the new folder...hope this helps...

Ideal voltage for DDR Ram?

I have my 2400 DDR at 3.0, but I have a TT Ram cooler on mine. I've had no problems with this set up and have been it like this for about 2 months now. My fsb is at 165*10 with my cheese XP 1500+. But like it was said, I wouldn't dare go above 2.9 unless you have some kinda cooling in place...
