Unimpressed with all this new hardware

The biggest change for me was going from an old NEC 386/SX 20 to a P75 with 16MB RAM and 850MB hard drive. Win 3.1 never ran so fast!, it was awesome. I had a 4X CD-ROM also, fun times.

why do so many people have dual monitors?

I recently set up my new machine with dual 19" Samsung 931C monitors. It is so nice to be able to have two applications open at once in front of me. As someone stated above I might have online banking open on one and Quicken open on the other etc. It's cool to browse two forums at once both in...

Question about fixing BSODs

If that is the case then I would suspect you have a bad stick of RAM in your system, try running memtest86. That will tell you for certain. If the result does come up bad and you have multiple sticks of RAM in your system then you will need to test each one individually to find out which one it...

Crashes and error messages

What are the BSOD error messages you are getting?, they may provide some clue. Make sure to turn off automatic restart so you can read what they are saying.

Need Help, PC wont POST. No Beeps either!

Do you have the secondary four pin ATX plug plugged in?, the one that plugs into the board by itself. I had a similar thing when building a new box, it wouldn't post at all since I had forgotten to plug it in. :o
