Thanks! That's the only thing I haven't tried so far and everything I've tried hasn't worked. It's super annoying spending 10-15 minutes trying to get the monitor to turn on.
I also tried using my old PC and it does the same thing with not wanting to wake up.
What’s really kind of weird is it has a menu paddle and when I try waking it up/trying to display anything pretty much all the options are greyed out. Like you can’t switch to HDMI or change refresh rates or gaming modes. I tried looking that up but found nothing.
I’ll have to check when I get home. It goes to sleep, both monitor and computer. When I tap a key or move the mouse I can see the PC boot up and hear it. The monitor has power, but it says no signal from the display port. It also only has one display port. So I can’t really see if the computer...
Thanks! I wasn’t aware of possible monitor issues and didn’t even think about changing which device sleeps first. I’ll give those a try. If the thing wasn’t so heavy I’d throw it out the window :)
Not really sure where to post this. My newly built PC once it goes into sleep mode won't come out of it and gives me a no signal detected for display mode port.
There's no other cable attached from the PC to monitor except the display port one. I can reboot 4-5x after not getting a display and...
I’m not sure, I didn’t think it was a troubleshooting issue. It doesn’t get used for web surfing or high risk stuff like that. Creating tabs and moving them around in Excel is becoming tiresome as it’s taking up to a minute to do. QB by nature is slow but now even more so waiting for windows to...
Thanks for the heads up! I believe the ones I’m looking at use the Killer NIC which Intel bought I believe. Not sure what chip it’s based on but will look.
I really like the Intel NIC over the Realtek, but I have no data to prove it's better. That's the only MB I could find with a Intel NIC on a AM4 platform. Not a heavy workload, but sometimes exporting data out of Quickbooks as an Excel file takes a while and crashes sometimes. Most likely just...
