Can't burn Audio CDs, but can burn Data CDs!?!?!?

I had EZCD5 and Nero installed at the same time for quite some time without any problems. I don't use either of them to do audio cds though. For Audio, I use Fuerio! which is made by the same people that make Nero. It's an audio only program that I just love. Possibly another reason I've...

I think I will be buying an LCD

So far my Dell 1900PF has performed exceptionally well for gameplay. It replaced a Samsung 900NF, and I have no intention of turning back.

Radeon 9700 TX...?

cdrw recomendations

Another vote for Lite-on. I love the older Plextor that I have. 3 years and still running like new. But for the price, the lite-on is a winner. I will NEVER, repeat NEVER, by a Yamaha anything ever again. I spent top dollar on a 4416s back when, and it was the biggest POS I've ever owned...

Dell 1900FP owners

Ok. Half the people say they have ghosting, half say it's fine with very little/no ghosting. A few of the ghosting people complain it's so bad you can't play games. Now, which is it??? Is it all perception? I'm sure that's gotta be part of it. How much does the video card come into...

Need some help picking a 19 inch LCD

I'd go with the Dell 1900FP. With their 20%, and coupons for $30-40 off every few days, you can get one in the $675, with free shipping when offered too. That's hard to beat.

Those two damn horizontal lines.

On my Samsung 900NF it almost looks like a piece of hair stretched across the screen. The lines are very thin and I usually don't notice them. When I do it doesn't bother me at all though. My viewsonice had them on too.

new 19inch monitor(suggestions plz)

Another vote here for the Samsung 900NF. I've had it for a few weeks now and it's a great monitor. I don't think the 955 is a bad monitor if you're looking for a budget deal. I'm rather picky though so went for the better one. :) It was the right choice by far.

Need Laser Printer Suggestions

I have a Brother HL-1440 laser printer. I love this thing. :) It's a great quality printer at a good price. List is $299, but $50 off deals abound on this one. Do a PM on it and you can will be looking at around $200. I paid $249 and it's worth every penny to me.

Is there a noticable diff between ATA33 and ATA 66/100

I just replaced a WD 20 gig 5400rpm ata33 hdd with a new maxtor 80 gig 7200 u133 hdd. Along with that switch I added the Maxtor u133 controller card that came with the drive. Now it's not fair to compare those two drives. What is fair is to say that my other drive, a maxtor 40 gig 7200rpm...

128 vs 192 kbps

192 is the only way to go. When I do rips I always use EAC (exact audio copy) and Lame. That's by far the best combo you could possibly use. We've made that the standard for rips on the board I'm on. It makes a big difference in quality. :D Takes a little longer but is by far worth it.

MAD AT DELL? - CALL Complaint Escalation Department

I ordered a monitor from Dell and it got here *very* quick. I ordered it on a Saturday and had it on Tuesday. :D It arrived 2 days before they said it might ship. :) Not bad for free shipping. :) I'd definately buy periphials from them again.

What does the Highlight option on my monitor do?

I have the same thing on my monitor. Samsung 900NF. I've played with it a bit. All that I can see that it does is to make a small section stand out from the rest. I don't see myself using it at all, but you never know.

If you're like me and don't need the ram, just go for the drive and use a $30 off coupon. :) That's what I did. If you read the info on the drive on the Staples.com site it says right in there that it comes with the controller card. That's one of the reason I bought it. $149.94 + tax...

Just got my first Flat screen CRT monitor and the screen looks sunk in..feedback please

I had the same thought when I first got my Viewsonic Perfectflat monitor. It says right in the user manual that the picture will appear concave, but it actually isn't. After a few days you get use to it and realise how much better the picture really looks. :)
