Memory info problems in WinXP Pro

I got Sony PictureBook laptop. It has 256megs mem installed. When i use system information program in WinXP Pro it tell me that my physical memory is only 128megs. Right clicking on my computer tell me i got 256 installed. Bios also said it got 256 installed. If i run Mem command from command...

IE 5.5 problem! Please help!

sorry typed wrong reply: i set to automaticly detect setting and then removed, same problem, reinstall proxy script, same problem. Thanks for reply

Hi, I got IE 5.5 SP1 windows 2000 sp2, the problem is that when i open IE and type any url, my browser freezes for 5 sec after site is loaded then continues to work. When i type new url in the same open browser there is not 5 second freeze. Can anyone one help with that problem? Thank you. P.S...

Sony F450 video cable

I got sony Sony PCG-F450 VAIO laptop but it missing the video cable that you can connect to TV and watch DVD movies. Can anyone tell me the name of that cable or if you know where to find it. Thank you for your help.

TDK vs Plextor

i am thinking of buying the new 12/10/32 cdrw drive. i found that plextor and tdk have the same drives with the same technologies. the problem is to deside which is better. any recommendations????

Good FTP to download linux!!!

Since linux 7.0 came out, it is really hard to download it at fast speed. does anyone know any good ftp site that i can download linux at really high speed. i am on t3 line and the highest i got to download was about 12-15 kb/s. thanks.

Poll: what OS do you use?

winME workes better with network hardware. boot time went from 2 min to 20-30 sec for me. :o

Drivers for ATI Mobile AGP

Hello People! I have laptop with ATI Mobile AGP 4mb. My laptop manufacturer has driver but they are old. Sept 99 does anyone know where to get new once. www.ati.com does not have them. thank you.
