Are 5.1 inch Android phones dead (need one for ~$350)?

I don't have a specific suggestion but keep in mind that diagonal screen size doesn't mean much. Phones are taller now, with aspect ratio like 18:9 or even 19.5:9 and use all screen design with minimal bezels, so a supposedly 6.1" phone ends up being no wider than an older 5" phone. Your wife...

Holy Giant Tablet Batman

If I were going insane, I'd make a single tablet with LCD on one side and e ink on the other. Surf the web and watch videos, then when your eyes get tired flip it over And read e ink books. sWeet.

HTML newsletter software for non-techie?

My brother wants to maintain a mailing list and send out an html newsletter. He's going to have around 500-1000 people on the list. he needs to be able to: 1) create the newsletter and send it out in html; 2) has a web UI that people can sub/unsub themselves; 3) be able to add/delete people...

i5-750 vs i7-860 for web developer/programmer

both machines have 8G ram so that should be fine. In truth I could probably live with my x2 3800+ moderately o/c to 2.4ghz for a while longer, maybe even a lot longer. I'm just getting that 4 yr itch :)

i5-750 vs i7-860 for web developer/programmer

the cheapest i5-750 refurb is $639+tax (almost 10% in CA), i7-860 is $819+tax. both same XPS 8000 model number so I assume same chassis etc. the i7 has a 1TB vs 750GB HD and gt220 vs 4350 video (not a huge diff), so they're gouging me a bit on the i7. hmmmmmm.

I'm a web dev/programmer. Mostly use my machine for work, which means various IDEs and dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc. Play some FPS on downtime, but not a real gamer. Encode/edit videos a few times a year. since I don't have time to do a build, I'll just get a dell refurb. My choices are...

yep. wasn't the first iphone overpriced and crippled? then they came out with a less overpriced and less crippled version, which so enraged the early adopters^w suckers, they demanded and got some money back? I'm hoping Asus or MSI or Acer will come out with a cheap knockoff that won't look...

Geforce 9800GT Vs Geforce GT240

it doesn't really make sense to get a 240 over 9800 for gaming. even the "eco" version of the 9800 which doesn't require a power plug willl outperform the 240. however, for HTPC use, the 240 has VP4 while the 9800 only has VP2. The 240 also has native audio and hdmi out, while the 9800 has...

I meant core 2 quad vs i5, not dual vs quad core. I'll probably OC some and keep for about 3, 4 years.

I rushed and ordered this from provantage.com to beat the deadline, but now looking here http://www.galaxytechus.com/usa/where.aspx it's not listed so does it mean I won't get the rebate? what does channel wide mean exactly? I can probably still cancel.
