NAS alternative

I don't like WD drives. I prefer seagate speed yes, raid NO anything with raid can delete your files automatically on initilization

can't get files: linux read windows files or windows connect to linux

Hello I have tried to read windows HD (windows10) from an external HD dock to my linux laptop. the drive mounts but show no files? the files are there how can I fix this? also, I have tried to set up homegroup with sharing on local network, but network doesn't see linux laptop linux...

I can fix the Fsatb uuid entries, but do i need to be concerned about the partitions for grub, and EFI in the FSTAB?? that is the real question, or just the partitions that linux is using: home, root?
