Hi Not sure whether this belongs in the section, however the problem is in the subject line. After powering down my PC it will not boot for a while, 10 minutes, some times longer, some times shorter any ideas? its a real pain! A keyboard reboot comes backup ok. Components below Thanks Intel...

File recovery software

Hi I deleted clonezilla image on an external usb drive a few weeks ago and would now like to get that file back. The pc is running win 2000 and is not connected to the internet any suggestions for a simple program to recover the file. I do have another pc win7 on the net. Thanks in advance

Finally managed to get rid of Comodo but not without a fight. I seems to hide stuff everywhere. So now to see how bitdefender and windows firewall get on. Any clues how to clear out COMODo registrey keyes without going through them individualy?

Bitdefender just found/quarantined another file in C:\windows\Temp\temp00008765\temp00000002. The file type is tmp00000002.16347.gzquar which I take to be the quarantined file. Love to know where these are coming from. Ketchup I will take your advice and switch off Comodo and leave Windows...

Hi Ketchup, I have sort of come to the same conclusion, ie that comodo and Bitdefender are not playing nice. As I understand things Bitdefender is antivirus and Comode is Firewall and as such should be able to run together, its not like I am running two antivirus programs. I am not sure I want...

Good chairs for good back posture?

Slightly off the wall, but I use a kneeling chair (google it), does have wheels can be adjusted for hight and gives you good posture. I used to get back problems but have used one of these for 17 years now and dont get trouble due to sitting at a desk all day. I still get the ocaisional problem...

ronbo Thanks for the suggestion, have downloaded it and had a go. I looks quite good except I cannot seem to turn the interlacing off which is causing blur between to consecutive images, so is no good for image capture. I am sure it will work but I cannot figure the settings to get it to go from...

Can anyone recomend any software (preferably free) that is good for reviewing video at slow speeds, also frame by frame and backwards and forwards. I want to use it for picking images of wildlife from video footage. So far I have tried Panasonics HD writer AE3.0 that came with my video camera...
