Help me understanding E4300 Overclocking Memory Requirement

Thanks for all who reply so far. I don't fully understand it yet, but I'm beginning to get it. DDR2 operates @twice the stated speed, so DDR2-800 memory only runs @400mhz, thus enabling the Anandtech's E4300 review to overclock to 375fsb. However, I"m still confuse about the 2:1 vs 1:1. [1]...

Need CHEAP DVI video card for 1440x900 monitor

I'm running my 128mb ATI Radeon 9500 NP @1440 no problem. I had a 9600 that I had to sold because it support only agp 8X, and no backward support for agp4X motherboad. I standby my radeon 9500/9700/9800 recommendation.

Crescent13. Thanks for the lapping tip. I haven't lapped a CPU since the Pentium 200MMX and K6(2) days, it sure take me back to the memory lane ;)

Pentium D 805 Dual Core cpu & MB, $159 at Fry's

:frown: .........I try 3 different power-supply: with and without 24pin ATX connector. Makes no difference. The setup is completely unstable and crashes randomly. I figure it might be the different memory capacity (512+256DDR) that is causing the crash, I removed the 256ddr....the system...
