Yes one (or maybe both) of the Dell 17" flat panels is OEM'd from Samsung. The 1800FP is from LG and is missing some features on the LG-branded version such as the USB hub.

I have also heard (but don't know if it's true) that a higher refresh rate for the LCD will make it look sharper. Once again, I don't know if it's true so try it at your own risk!
