^ you cannot! ddr2 will be around for a long time, and anything more than 3gb is a waste on a 32bit os anyway. no need to go to vista64 until something actually uses it. :)

good to know, thanks. i got the extra 1gb because i wanted to max out 32bit vista. i find really no need to go to 64 right now since there's no much support for it...

ballistix and ballistix tracers uses the same type of chips, right? d9s? the only diff being the goofy LEDs?

Ordered my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R MB from Mwave

I'm debating whether or not to return my GA 965P and get this board instead... though I don't plan on upgrading to the 45nm anytime soon...

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.3)

So the 1.3 rev... does that mean I cannot attach 2 case fans and 1 CPU fan to it since it only has 2 headers? Only 1 CPU and 1 Case? I'm getting a Lian Li PC-7A and replacing all the fans with the Nexus Silent fans, and also slapping one on my Thermalright Ultra-120 heatsink. Does this...

So I recently picked up a e6600 to replace my aging A64 rig, and plan on jumping on the OCing bandwagon a bit again. I've heard great things about this memory - I plan on using it with a Gigabyte GA-965p DS3 rev 1.3 ($94 this weekend!) Thoughts...
