Is it still wort it to buy socket 754 platforms?

10x I think I ll spend the extra money on a better video card since the budget for the cpu and mobo was a litltle higher. Can you post me a list of all the socket 754 processors please :)

Is it still wort it to buy socket 754 platforms?

Yeah its a very good value for money setup. But the thing is, that I wanted to overclock my system, and I ve read that the 939 s are good overclockers. Will I be able to achieve a decent overclock with this processor? (since it is a 130nm) Or should I go 939 so as to be able to overclock more?

boot problem

I forgot to add that the Memory check wil succesfully complete at CPU stock speed (133 * 15) and memory working at 133mhz

My PC athlon xp 2400+ (133 * 15) kingston value ram 400mhz Abit nf7s ver 2.0 Seagate serial ATA 150 80gb 8mb cache Lately I ve been having problems. I ve been formatting very frequently. I m loosing partition information on drive C. It keeps giving me this error, UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME...

help!! serial ata

I have an NF7-s ver 2.0 mobo It has a serial ata controller I need to buy a hard disk drive and I m interested in buying a sata drive can a single drive be connected to the sata controller? (cause I dont want to buy 2 drives right now) or it is like raid, ie at least 2 drives must be connected...

Has anyone played around with a "speed strip"?

what processor do you have? I cant see the use of it cause I m able to achieve those settings from my bios directly with the same processor the speed strip is reducing the multiplier and allowing to increase the fsb cant you increase your fsb directly from the bios?

High end AMD mobo for overclocking

I have an NF7 s ver 2.0 and I think it s a great mobo and I strongly reccomend it but I wanted to take other Ideas Thanks for all your replies guys :)

Best AMD processor to overclock?

excuse me for my ignorance but would the motherboard improve if it is flashed to a more recent bios ver? my bro has an old asus a7a266 mobo and it s performance greatly improved after a flash new oveclocking options were available

I read some reviews and tests on the volcano 12 and it performed really good but some reviews may be biased and so I posted a message I think I ll go with the volcano 12 then and you are right there is a great difference between the volcano 11 and 12 10x :)
