The 8.1 update lets you do it and even allows your own picture as background. You can download it by going to the windows store or whatever its called

are ad blockers any good for web browers?

Theres no fanboy list for chrome is there? I only see easy list + easyprivacy. I guess I could enter it manually but I worry it might break something. I'm using regular adblock

Slower fps in gaming with flash videos open

i unchecked 'enable hardware acceleration' by right clicking on a video and going into settings. I think it helps I'm not sure though maybe somewhere else can chime in
