I have the latest BIOS too. You say you have an E3? Probably clocks better than my E6. I can boot into windows at 2.5ghz, but it'll never pass prime95, even taking out the RAM as a factor via dividers. The temps are nice and low at whatever voltage I put at it, unless it's 1.6v, so I don't...

I have a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D. I will play with it more before I rule out it's limit. Could be my Neopower 480W PS not enough to push it very high, but I won't shell out more money for a PS just to get the 200mhz in speed.

I got my e6 last week and I've been playing with it... max i can get was 2.45ghz on 1.55 volts. I can boot up at 2.5, but it wouldn't be stable, or would fail prime95. I'm humming along easily at 2.35 at 1.4v, so I'll just keep it at that for now. Less heat that way.

Go to Fry and ask for the rebate for the Dlink products. I got the duplicates too, but after discussing with the counter people, and numerous reprints of the incorrect rebate, they finally printed out the right one. It takes a copy of the UPC, and is mailed to the same address as the other...

The few places I've gone to today looked at me funny when I suggested the printer substitution. They only offered to sell me the display HP-1000 for 10% off.... which I laughed at. :D Hopefully, a post of the fax will prove back up my claim.

(Dead) HP LaserJet 1200SE Laser Printer for "$170" AC at OfficeMax or "$160" with PM to Staples (was $400)

I just scored this printer at a Staples today too, 110% pricematch and coupon. They called to verify stock, but after waiting 20 minutes, they gave up and matched the price. Sweet! One question though, when I print stuff out, i open up the print status windows, and it shows it printing...

Newegg selling Throughbred B's 1/10/03

I picked up the 2100+ B from them and it too is a 0301, and mine runs flawlessly even with Prime95 at 166x13 2158MHz @ 1.7V. My 8k3a+ is having issues though since I flashed it with the latest BIOS... so I'm waiting for a new mobo, but in the meantime, my CPU seems to run fine. I've booted up...

I went to the Fountain Valley and the Anahiem Fry's yesterday and they both only had opened motherboards, so I didn't even bother. Their CPUs were probably returned as well. The Anahiem one had about 20 of those MSI boards, ALL of them opened. Needless to say, I didn't get one, but would have...

Nicely Heated: Logitech MX700 46.84 after $20 MIR

The only complaint I have about this mouse is that the scroll button doesn't work in a few games, like Unreal Tournament 2003 and Warcraft III. Hopefully a new release of the drivers will fix that.
