Frys ad: 300GB SATA $99 No rebates

I bought one of the Seagate 300gb 16mb pata drives for $89.99 from outpost on 4/1...April Fool joke: It wouldnt even format, returned it next day.

TV on laptop

There are internal and external TV Tuner cards: PCI slot for desktops and USB for desktops or laptops. Mine is the former with cable running into the Tuner card.

I have an AT&T Motorola V60i in near new condition. Wife used for a couple of months b4 we switched to Cingular. Is in original box with handsfree set, holster, charger, car charger and manual: all original equipment. You can have for $40 shipped fedex two day. Oops just checked that...

I think he wants to go to 1 Ghz and beyond...I dont know the limits on a 440bx chipset, but I have one running at 850Mhz. It's a 566 celeron running at 100 fsb. If lastguy wants a P3, I have a P3 450 I can sell him??? That 440 was world champion for a couple of years, it took a lot of abuse...

Google "cpuid" and download that utility. It will ID your motherboard...Start there to see if your board has a future in upgrading.

The processor you linked to is a CORE: Tualatin, which was the last rendition of the P3 and Celeron P3. Previous poster is suggesting you stay away from the Tualatin core and use a P3 with a Coppermine core. I dont have any experience with dell motherboard support for a processor upgrade. Can...

It's a constant wonder to me that we (I) get sucked into posting about THE most over discussed subject in computerdom: AMD vs INTEL. Without going into it, comes down to "I bought "this" and I'm not an idiot and you bought "that" so you must be an idiot"...But, I wouldn't want to deprive...

2 Pentium socket 370 mobo problems

I believe of the several flavors of 370 there was a rambus (RDRAM) model; Im sure there are 370's that run tualatin cores and earlier ones that dont. That's just a start, but a couple of possibilites. Need more info on your equipment.
