Glad to hear you got your issues sorted out with the Yamaha! I was thinking of grabbing the x3100w but after reading what you went through, I have decided to hold-off for a bit.
I have been pondering the same and was looking at the Denon avr-s710w which is $480 and does support hdcp 2.2. It is supposed to get an update in the fall to bring hdmi 2.0a support.
I'm just trying to determine if hdcp 2.2 is that much of a deal breaker and if the 2014 x series (x3100) is...
You have a few options:
1. If your car has an Aux port (headphone jack) for accepting audio input, you can use a Bluetooth car adapter. The most common ones can be brought from Amazon for around $50. I use the Kinivo BTC455. These adapters plug into the cigarette lighter for power and easiest...

Given the option, I would of...

Not sure if I saw this mentioned but Durarara is decent but does take awhile to get into a plot.
Site says $6.95/month and there is a 14 day trial. I cant recall what the Black Friday discount was and there's no guarantee it'll be the same this upcoming Thanksgiving.
I recommend at the very least checking out the list of shows currently available (the catalog does get updated). I like it...
