Nobel prize in chemistry - something we all contributed to through crunching DC

Vijay Pande (FAH founder) didn't get nominated for Nobel Prize. I'm guessing protein folding may just be a tool in helping protein design. Anyway congratz to David Baker.

I will be evaluating and changing my DC activities.

Keeping in mind that an average Americans drives longer distance and spend more time in car (esp in big cities) per year than average UK drivers. ;) . We spend a lot on gas and we have plenty of space too, lol. Big cities in UK has better public transportation than most big cities in US...

I will be evaluating and changing my DC activities.

Nothing compare to a big economy state like Kali. Paid ~$4.60/gal and climbing. I'm using premium gas for my 11-year old Audi, otherwise would have use regular which is 40 cents cheaper. Electricity is $0.515 per kWhr currently, nothing compare to most of what you guys are paying and will go up...

2nd hand server CPUs

If you decide to OC or do bios hack on haswell, I was rocking xeon haswell E5-4669 v3 with bios hack. I think the E5-4669 v3 may be tightly binned (since it is intended for a 4p system) and probably using the "higher-end" production bins. I also think the E5-2699 v3 was using the "higher-end"...
