Another "Which card for this rig?"

Problem opening multi session cd in WinXP

My brother is having trouble opening the cd's he's burned on the new WinXP computer I built for him. He never had a problem on an old 533 emachine with 98SE. Is this a general problem or is it probably specific to his hardware? I'll post more when I get more info on it. Thanks.

Recovering HD space used by Linux

I've got a 27 gig Maxtor drive that last time I partioned it I left about 7 gigs unpartitioned for Mandrake. Now I need the space back. I've already tried reformatting and it only shows up at 20 gigs. I'm about to install Win98 and then upgrade to WinXP. Thanks.

Anyone know how to convert a camcorder tape into a digital format?

I believe most new digital video cameras allow you to hook up a vcr or older video camera to the new one which then easily hooks up to the computer via firewire. Firewire ports come on PCI capture cards for $20 to $50 or your computer may have firewire just like it has USB. If this it the case...
