2nd HDD not fully recognized in Vista

It wasn't vista... USB enclosured the thing and I still couldn't format it in XP. Had a noticable clicking every once in a while. RMA'd!!!! Seagate better be nice and quick about it or its WD from now on.

Vista 64 on external cased internal HDD...

Is this doable? I have a 32bit laptop and an external harddrive case containing a SATA harddrive. I would like to install a bootable Vista 64bit on it because then I will take the harddrive and use it as an internal desktop drive about a month in the future. I think it would just be...

PSU Testing

I should have no issues plugging my PSU in and making the fans, harddrives and DVD burner spin to test everything out, correct? I am lacking anything in the mobo, CPU, etc department for now.... Just being overly cautious, don't want to hurt my baby... Thanks.

I want Antec P182 but it's too tall.

The P182 has 4 little rubber feet that are a few centimeters tall. Cut those down a bit and don't use the spoiler, and voila.

ABIT IP35 Series

Anyone know if radial heatsinks ( blue orb, Zalman 7700 ) fit over the NB heatsink ? I know the giant towers have no problem and the Zalman 9500 fits... just curious about the radials.
