That will be the future this is the first phase. The only carrier who is not moving in this direction is Verizon and I don't think it will be to long before they will also. The choices be using less expensive phones like the 520, moto-g or nexus or to finance it through carrier programs like...
Well if investors are not happy it must be ok for some consumers lol. I think investors are little short sited not understanding getting out of the subsidizing business is a plus for the wireless industry. I hope the fears of a price war come true would love moving these prices to the lower...
I think the dirt cheap plan prices make the high end phone more palatable in Europe and asia. Even at these prices still paying after taxes and fees of basically 40 a line. If it was half that I think high end phone prices be easier to swallow but I just don't see the average person chomping...
Got 4 lines 2 smart phones 2 and 3 gig data packages and 2 dumb phones. Only 1 line under contract for another year. No brainer for me to switch over and save 20-25 a month and be able to upgrade the 2 dumb phones to cheap smart phones. Once the contract is up then can decide what to do maybe...
I ended up getting one over the weekend. Was out of town on a road trip and my phone died my guess on board flash storage died. I was in a pinch and did not want to sign a contract right now with ATT for upgrade no phones I want. Did not want to drive alone in a very large city alone at night...
Sony cleared that up today. For disk based games all a 3rd party can do is online passes. Sony will not help them with it either they must do it on their own.

I agree paying for online play sucks. If someone does not want to pay out of principle I can understand and won't argue. If it is about money PS+ is one of the biggest money savers out there. A cheap rental service with awesome game discounts. Is there months I don't like any of the games...
Pretty clear to me the DRM is on by default by MS and the publisher has to opt out of it to allow selling/trading games.

We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers.
Also it is not the...
They have games on demand and the pricing is horrible. Games that are almost 7 years old like the original gears of war is still 29.99. Many games that are over a year old are still full MSRP. Both MS and Sony have failed at online store pricing. Nothing will change this up coming generation...
You really think they went through all this trouble on used games to let 10 people split a game library which is 100x worse? There will be fine print on this like it will have to be under 1 main account with sub accounts for the house hold. A limit on time played on a system that is not the...
The TV is actually not very smart since it is for live cable/sat TV. It still requires a cable TV box to work for it. Almost no cable boxes will work with is smoothly since most are old and suck. So the Xbone is basically a IR blasting remote for live tv. It is the same issue google TV is...
You do know the casual gamer is much more likely to buy/sell/trade/rent games? Wait till parents get wind of the only way to get Xbone games it to basically buy them new. Sure there might be a used game here and there for a tiny bit less. The hardcore are more likely to bite the bullet...
There are plenty of places a person can serve with out internet. It requires DRM check in every 24 hours. I do see this as a major issue for the Xbone since it is very popular with younger servicemen. There is no solution to this issue. Unless they want 2 sets of firmware that if can be...
Got my pre-order already into amazon soon as the show finished for a PS4. Cheaper no online DMR for physical games, beefier GPU and 100 dollars cheaper all full of win.
No the GPU has twice as many ROPs on the PS4 and has 33% more CUs on the PS4. Also the Xbone uses 3 god damn gigs of ram for the OS 2 CPU cores and 10% of the weaker GPU. The PS4 is technically superior plain and simple. Cheaper and no damn bullshit DRM.
