MSI Dual core center... anyone?

old post,, and I am reviving it,, sorry for those that hate that.. I am now trying msi dual core centerwith a new MSI PN7 motherboard. Whne I try to make any changes with the utility, it crashes my computer. I have been searching the Internet, and there is not much that can be found for...

btw, my Sapphire HD3870 PCI-e is working, not as good as I would like but it is working. it has a very difficult time with corruption with most Catalyst driver versions. I can't do anything more with it but hold on till the next major upgrad ein a few months.. Whatever went bad this ASRock...

this board is not an OC type board. it will OC a bit, but it is very very limited. It was meant to be a cheap baord that delivers decent performance and can use both AGP and PCI-e video. Nothing more.

Hi, Long story short, I had a Sapphire Radeon 200 Pro in my 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 and it all of a sudden (*after 1 year..) decided to stop working with some games.. (Black Shark.. is one..) and I tried everything, only thing left was to RMA ther video card, and they sent me a Sapphire...

Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0

I have had the 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 motherboard for a couple years. It is not an Overclocker's MB. So, don't even try. if you do try you probably will not get much more than 280 or so out of the FSB before it crashes.. I can only get an e6300 duo2core cpu to about 286 fsb (stock setting is 266...

I found my answer: The answer is no... I found this answer in another forum Dear Sir, The VIA PT880 Pro/Ultra can not support Intel Speedstephttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpeedStep . It is chipset limitation. So, we remove the Speedstep support from the latest BIOS 2.40...

4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 does not have a speedstep option for CPU. I found that odd. Anyone figure out if it can be switched on? It does not show up in the Bios. I was just very surprised and wonder if I am missing something. Thanx,

I have a new 4CoreDual-SATA2, I bought a new Intel Core2Duo Conroe E6300 on eBay for $125 a couple months back, I found HP DDII Ram (2 x 1gb sticks) for $3 each after rebate. I put in a Radeon X2900 Pro 512mb video card. It is all running fine. I can run my setting for Crysis wide open and maxed...
