I could see serious streamers going for a Threadripper build. Leaves a lot of nice headroom for not just the game and video encoding but also all kinds of other background tasks one might need done simultaneously. Gaming and content creation can go hand in hand.
What is the advantage of splitting your company like that? Iirc AMD only did that because it was their only choice if they wanted to remain in the business of making x86 CPUs.

Did you never spill anything on the keys on the 2nd keyboard? Do they feel fine physically? You can wash a keyboard with water and some dish soap as long as you rinse it and let it dry properly too. This saved my keyboard (that I had spilled some wine on).
When it comes to cherry MX switches and gaming I'd try back or red ones next. I have blue switches and I don't quite like them for the purpose of gaming. I feel like I could spam a key faster if it didn't have that built in clicky thingy. They are great for typing though.

Once all the manufacturing equipment is there, isn't the majority of the manufacturing costs in making/buying the unprocessed silicon wafers? What do those cost per square centimeter?
How are the memory speed issues progressing? Is it reasonable to hope that at some point BIOSes have matured to the point that all memory sticks can be ran at their rated speeds?
