In all my years working with pc's, I've never seen this beofre

Had this happen to me before. Make sure it's not your USB ports going bad. Disable USB in the bios and see if it posts.

Oh, and another thing, the whole system freezes to the point to where not even the event viewer will pick up the error. So, unless anyone has any ideas to the contrary, I'm thinking this is hardware related. Would love for it to not be, so any more help would be greatly appreciated.

Tried that in normal startup and in safe mode. Same error w/ the graphics card saying the display is an invalid CRT type (what?!) and apparently my hard drive is predicting imminent failure. Crap. There were no errors or warnings when adding any of the USB devices, though. I'm thinking my...

I do have some errors in event viewer, but those were there well before this incident started. It's with my graphics card, a 9600 all-in-wonder. The T200 unified avstream driver. Code 10 error that I've long since quit trying to fix. Tried uninstalling, cleaning the registry, updating...

NewEgg needs a Customer review Disclaimer

I often find Newegg reviews useful if there are a great many reviews for the product. However, Newegg's review screening needs to be reworked. I've seen product reviews posted by people that didn't even have the product. Huh? Exactly how that makes it past the screening process is beyond me.

Firefox broken

Okay, just updated to version 1.5.0.2 a couple days ago. Everything was working fine until I restarted tonight. None of my engines are installed, all of my bookmarks are gone, and Firefox will not retain any settings after closing and restarting the program. I can't install any extentions...
