I need to put more storage in my HTPC and can't figure out what the max drive size is for the ASUS M2NPV-VM. Does anyone knows? I'll be using the RAID controller on the board if that makes a difference.
Thanks.
This might be a long shot but I thought Id give it a try!
I recently changed jobs and don't have any tools to work with. I previously used the tool kit below and was very happy with it...
Ruckus is a controller based solution but the controller is only used for AP configuration.
The remote AP solution that Aruba offers is really cool for remote offices but doesn't really apply in our school environment.
There is a huge value to doing the same thing other districts are doing. To be honest, that is one of the reasons I'm considering Ruckus. My fear is that they are installing it only because it's the cheapest and not looking at features and how it will fit their needs in the future.
I have 1...
I should have also mentioned that I beleive the Aruba tunneling all of the traffic through the controller is actually a benefit. I'm not a switch guru (can't be a master of anything in a 2000 student k-12 district) and could easily add SSIDs/VLANs on the controller without having to touch the...
We are looking to deploy a campus wide WLAN in a k-12 school district. My initial impression is that an Aruba system with the PEF firewall is a far more feature rich solution than Ruckus but all of the neighboring school districts are going with Ruckus. I have a very short amount of time (this...
It's all about determining what you can afford to be without and what you can afford to spend. Every organization should have a disaster plan that would evaluate each system, determine the allowable downtime and then plan for redundant systems as necessary to meet that requirement.
Any sense if future MIMO improvements will be offered via firmware upgrades or are we talking about new hardware?
Any thoughts on Ruckus vs Aruba?
Thanks!
We are preparing to install a wireless network in a k-12 school district. We care more about coverage than density today but want the abilty to add APs down the road to provide for density. We expect most of our clients will be student/staff owned devices as well as district owned Netbooks...
