Interesting. Can you decode this clip, or this one, or the UHD sample (first clip) from this page, with your i7 4790k alone without any aid from your GPU? I dare say you will not be able to. No single-socket CPU out there right now can decode these 4K clips without dropping frames. High-end...

770has already been discontinued, because you-know-what has replaced it. Any 770 out there are leftover stocks and will not be made anymore. And 760 days are numbered too, a certain GPU model will repalce it next month.

Omfg. No Hybrid crossfire for XP users ?

That's how Vista's SuperFetch works. Calling it a waste of RAM is misleading at best. Even if you can populate your motherboard with 4GB RAM or more, Vista will use SuperFetch and use all the RAM available. And that sir, is not a bad thing.

[Retired] The LCD Thread

I have just bought a 226BW, and got the S panel. :) Actually I have considered avoiding 226BW altogether and has been evaluating the HP w2207 until I found a forum post from bcchardware.com that taught me how to determine what panel a 226BW uses just from the service info menu...
