Upgrading from a 8800 GT

Hey appreciate that. Unfortunately Nvidia and Valve aren't really fixing the glitch with L4D. Otherwise I would be right with you-- unfortunately drivers and patches don't fix it, see :http://forums.steampowered.com...howthread.php?t=846415 I would love it if it were that simple to fix...

Just to quickly bring my question back up-- so would I be better served by not getting the Dell 2208 and maxing out my budget to get the BenQ 2400W? Its ~90$ price difference, but it sounds like it is a much better monitor for the buck. Would that be a good decision?

Yes, and they shipped very quickly (took them all of two hours to go from submitting the order to having it picked up by UPS). Shipping is a little higher than you might pay with newegg, but again for us CA residents not having to pay tax makes a HUGE difference.
