New Nvidia drivers "hang" system.

People on the MSI and Guru3D forums mentioned that flashing the video card's BIOS may solve this problem. I'm feeling adventurous, so I think I'll try that tonight. Never flashed a vid card before..

I did a 1:1 copy from one HD to another (Both XP)

Sysprep is a utility that prepares your system for cloning. If you don't run sysprep before ghosting an XP machine, it probably won't boot. There are good sysprep guides out there, google for one.

PNY doesn't release drivers, that's just a link to nVidia's reference drivers. I guess I'll try 53.03, which are the latest nVidias. Haven't tried them yet.

I'm having the exact same problem here. I've tried Detonator 52.16 and 45.23, both are causing problems. The Detonators that come with the nForce2 software download also caused problems. I have an Epox 8RDA3+ which is an nForce2 Ultra 400 board. PNY GF3 Ti200, Athlon XP 1600, Leadtek Winfast TV...

Does Shuttle AK31 v3.1 support LBA-48?

I'm going to buy a Western Digital 200GB hard drive and I'm wondering if my motherboard will support it, or if I have to buy a Promise IDE card. Does anyone know if the Shuttle AK31 v3.1 supports LBA-48? I have the latest BIOS, version S2EI.

Am I correct in assuming that the new Half-Life and CS updates HAVE BROUGHT THE ENTIRE INTERNET TO ITS KNEES? Geez, when Blue's News AND FilePlanet go down you know something is up. This just goes to show you, 2+ years and Half-Life still rules. BTW I did find a fast mirror for 1108 to 1109...
