OK, sorry for the confusion here. I have more than 3 drives in the system. I had 1 SATA drive that was causing me problems. I thought it might be heat related. I replaced that drive with a new SATA drive on the same cable/connection and it's now in a drive cooler and running well within spec...

Umm... Thx. As stated in my posts I tried both Macdrive 6 and HFV explorer to no avail.

Ok, managed to find the drivers from driverguide.com (what a crappy site BTW) and installed them and the drive was installed as new hardware. However it is STILL not showing up anywhere either in windows, macdrive6, or HFV explorer. Hmmmm.

Thanks for the suggestions birdpup. As far as heat goes.. it's only a backup drive so it's not accessed all the time and the case is cool cool cool. The PSU is a 475 Enermax Noisetaker, and it's currently running the drive w/o probs even when XP won't allow me direct access. I thought...
