Windows Error 1304

I was installing Kaspersky AV 7.0 onto an older laptop (about 5 years old, running XP SP3) and I keep getting an Error 1304: failure to access a file, and it identifies something in the Windows/System32/drivers folder. I think it was a "ks1.sys" file. So, I went into the System32 folder...

Bovinda, I put a Corsair 520HX into one of those cases about a month ago, but connected to Gigabyte DS3L mobo. 1- I plugged one fan only plug into the lower fan, and then stacked the upper two fans onto the same fan only plug. You should have enough cable length to route those upper fan...

New Build for me

Any other suggestions on PCie tv tuners......

Does anyone have any suggestions for a PCie tv tuner? Sounds like no tv tuner is perfect, and could cause issues at any time. Figured I would get one that is as future proof as possible, with multiple inuts, recording and viewing options. Seems like this one fits the bill... wivtv 1800

Migrating an old hard drive with an XP install to a new box

What luck, perfect question. :) I was about to ask the same question as Mr Bond, almost identical circumstances (new build, wanted to use Win XP from old HDD without having to do a full software reinstall.....). That leaves me thinking I should just bite the bullet and get Vista Home...

Onboard sound or ancient creative pci

Thanks for the feedback. :) Seems like a toss-up, so I will stick with the easy solution and work with onboard unless it just jumps out at me right off the bat as being lower quality than what I am used to.
