Looking for PCIe Gen3 1x to SATA 3 RAID 1 adapter

Thanks! Yea, that's what I also saw for PCIe Gen3, was hoping that I missed something :) My new mobo has 3 PCIe x16 slots, two from CPU and one from the chipset in 4x mode, which I was hoping to use for something like Intel 750. That leaves 3 PCIe 1x slots unused.

Clone an SSD that keeps powering off randomly

Problem: I got an old OCZ Vertex LE that is dying. At random it will power off, or lock up. Unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in makes the drive reappear. I need to clone the drive. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? I can't figure out if dd has a "infinite retries...

Alienware OptXTM AW2310 3D vs other 120Hz monitors

Intel Sandy Bridge video drivers - Virtual Desktop on Windows?

Do Intel drivers have a Virtual Desktop functionality akin to nView or the OS X equivalent of "Spaces" or linux virtual desktop? If not.. what is the recommended program for Windows to perform that operation? (I am assuming I can't just install nView without having nVidia video card)...

Dual Monitor with SB Intel HD 2000?

I can't find any info about the built in GPU in Sandy Bridge support for multiple monitors.. Does HD 2000 support two displays? I am guessing it should, since the laptops have that feature, but I need to know for sure as far as desktops go. Or is this more a question for the motherboards...

No VT-d on K series?

Why is there VT-d support on 2500 and 2600 but not on the 2500K and 2600K? Also, what kind of impact on VMs will this have? I was going to get the 2500K but now I am not sure :( Thanks, RMSe17

X4 940 Giving me hell...

This. You use 1 layer, and it has to be so thin as to be almost transparent. Practice a bit, if you can get it thinner, good. If it is too thin, you will notice that AS5 is actually coming off and exposing the CPU surface... Best way to apply is with a razer blade, however using a CC will do...
