I have a simple network at home (4 clients, xp pro + vista) + a simple file sharing server (xp pro).
I use the "server" for two things, mainly. Backup of the clients files + sharing some media files.
Some of the clients files are efs encrypted.
Is it possible to retain the encryption...
Mine did the same and died.
And so did a lot of others.
Buy a quality one (check for Fortron 450watts if you are on a budget, cheap and quality).
And RMA / sell the Antec one.

A complete network rebuild is to be done. This is a temporary measure.
There is a "server" used to backup data and share smaller files. It's a simple Windows 2000 Pro box.
There is around 20 computers total.
We have a small network here at work. Mostly Windows 2000 and XP boxes. No server.
It is used to share large CAD files between computers. The security is really basic. Shares are accessed using the guest account.
I would like one Windows 2000 computer NOT to be able to access the network...
I think you are right on this one. The signature of the guy who posted says otherwise but the date is way too early for a C2D.
Anyway, one thing is for sure. The C2D is way less "rectangular" than a Pentium D. My Opteron 165 was pretty much the same size and who said we needed a line of AS5...
So yeah. There is 1mm more on one side. Yeah sure a full line of AS5 will help :roll:
We've been using a grain of AS5 on Athlon64 for years and they are not perfectly square.
