That's a good sign! Did you have a 17" laptop prior by chance? Now, I'm back to deciding between M14x (don't like the 900p) M17x (don't like the size) XPS 15 (don't like the looks) XPS 17 (don't like the looks or the size) So alas, I keep reading...

As of right now, it's looking like either an Alienware m14x or XPS 15 Still thinking, building, and thinking some more :)

Too much work lately!! Sorry for the delay... @zuffy - too many laptops I like, and finding whether or not the keyboard is backlit seems unnecessarily difficult. @corkyg - It's in the running but as slugg said - I know too many people with driver issues in games. @ActiveX - Thanks...

Does anyone have ideas on how to search for a laptop with a backlit keyboard? Alienware are too spendy and over-priced (but definitely have the coolest keyboard.) ASUS is out because I HATE my G71G. Thanks in advance!

Help picking between laptop

I have a G71G-A2 and will never NEVER buy ASUS again. Double typing issues, graphics corruption, failing CPU fans, failing GPU fans and that's the issues I remember. I bought it 3 months before Windows 7 came out... and it won't run it successfully. It's not worth the hassle IMHO...

3 monitors with one Graphics Card

was looking to game across 3 24" screens... I went with the XFX Radeon HD 6870... Next up, replacing the Q6600 driving this machine. Thanks all!
