[Retired] The LCD Thread

Does anybody know if the Samsung 2253BW is a good choice? I plan to use it mainly for gaming, web surfing and some 3d work. I can´t find reviews anywhere and the LG 227WT is not available

X3350 in a GA P35 DS3L

I am thinking about buying a X3350 since the Q9450 has become an urban legend. But it's not in the Gigabyte P35 DS3L supported processors list and I don't want to "flash the bios" because it's my first build ever and I'm a newbie. Or might the cpu not work at all?

About the 9800GX2...

well I plan to game at 1680x1050. Anyway, I think I'll get a 8800gt and sell it when the 9900gx2 comes out

I'm buying a whole new system, 4 gigs of ram, E8400, Corsair 750TX psu, gygabyte P35 DS3L mobo.

So the 4870X2 will be better than the 9800GX2? it has a lot of RAM

About the 9800GX2...

lol, I just read that the Step Up program can only be used in north america and europe and I live in South America. Since I really don't want a 9600, I guess I'll be brave and just wait 3 months

About the 9800GX2...

Hi, first time poster. I am thinking about getting an EVGA SSC 9800GX2 but wondered how well will it play games like fallout 3, far cry 2 and others that will come out later this year. I know the system requirements for those games are not known yet, but what do you think anyway? I would wait...
