New rosewill case, no idea how to setup fan flow

I would suggest that you mod the case so that the rear can accomodate a 120mm fan - that way, you could install a very quiet fan (for exhaust) that still pushes a lot of air. For the side vent, it is unnecessary to add a fan: the vent should just direct air over the cpu cooler. I would suggest...

you probably just have to adjust the refresh rate of your monitor. Just go into the ati control panel and change it to the fastest refresh rate that your monitor supports.

Can't fit two 6600GT Silencer into my case. WANT SLI!!! :roll;

....you cant run two gfx cards of DIFFERENT gpus in sli. Just sell the 6600gt, or save it for something else, perhaps a friend's build or whatnot. Just use the single 7600gt.

Will newer PSUs work with an old PIII system?

Alright, thanks for the replies. I ran into a problem though. THe new PSU needs the old AUX connector, the one with 6 pins...and most good power supplies don't use it anymore. So, are there any good PSU's that still have an AUX connector, or is there an adapter for it available?

Ok, so I'm thinking about giving my friend my old PIII 500Mhz system. The mobo's pretty basic, its got integrated graphics..that's pretty much it lol. My friend's got a Pentium II and his dad won't let him buy new parts. So I'm thinking of getting his dad to buy a case, psu and pci video card...

Oh yea, why don't you look into the JingTing chipset cooler? It's pricey, but it's silent and cools well too.

Am I safe with this overclock?

You're pretty much at FX-57 speeds. You could try pushing it to 255 x 11 which I think is 2.8ghz. If you have to bump the voltage up by a significant amount (like 0.1v) then I would suggest you stay at 2.7ghz. Dam lucky....lol

1.4v for 2.7ghz is awesome. I wouldn't worry about it at all, considering thats pretty much stock voltage :D. Nice temps too, good job.

Agreed. The Phantom's just gonna dump a lot of heat into your case so its gonna ramp up anyway. Get a seasonic - its quiet, efficient, and is most likely more reliable than the antec phantom.

Questions about Temp with P4D 805

Yes, that is very acceptable considering that the chip is very hot to begin with. I would wait until the temps go any higher before buying a new hsf. Of course, having an aftermarket cooler would definitely not hurt. It'll only be around 40 bucks for the xp-90 and a decent fan. If you're...
