I took the bait and got one but it sat for awhile since I didn't have any drives for it. I picked up a couple of 2TB Hitachi drives so finally tried it. I do have a question. I don't see in the unit's software if you can set up the drives to be just two separate drives, not raid or mirrored...
Over a year ago I purchased a number of these. I was planning on giving some as presents last Christmas. Poor quality control causing a higher failure rate than we are use to with normal products. They also are mediocure in performance. Audio quality is lacking. Great idea but poor quality.
I've ordered a total of six. Two then four. Ended up returning 4 becuase of defects. Bad quality control. Way too many defective units getting out of the factory. Good idea but bad production quality.
I setup the password with a wireless USB keyboard on a new computer. I tried using a wired PS2 keyboard from another computer and it will not take the password. I created a second account entering the password with the wired keyboard. The second account takes the password from the wired...
Anyone had the unit stop working after trying to use a USB drive? I got two, one for the wife and one for me. I used an SD and a USB in mine and it worked fine. My wife tried her's with a 64meg freeby USB she got at a conference and it won't start up now. I tried it in mine and it toasted...
I wanted an LED like the minimag that focused. I managed to find one but also found a replacement LED lamp for my minimag here: Link to Minimag led replacement
Dave,
I am interested in using the bootable Acronis CD to read or write to a network drive for the image like in Ghost. I tried reading the online PDF manual and didn't find my answers about NTFS image creation and restoring from a boot disc with a network drive for the image.
I see...
I am looking to switch from Ghost 2003. With this version of Ghost I can only image FAT32 drives across the network to my image drive. Ghost V9 doesn't fit my needs. I am using NTFS on my new machine and I want to switch the others over to NTFS. So I need an imaging software that can image...
I had a laser printer shared using one computer as a print server. Then I got a print server for the laser printer. After installing the software on all the computers I found I could just change the port to the network print server on the Win98se machine but I can't change the port on the same...
I have a Pipeline 75 isdn router. I see it connecting when any one of two computers start up and it shouldn't be connecting. I put a firewall on to try and find the cause but it didn't help find the problem. The only thing I found out with a firewall is when I locked out the internet it didn't...
I ran across this on a setup page for the Pipeline. Maybe this is what is going on with the Pipeline connecting when I don't think it should be connecting.
"The Pipeline will sometimes open a session to a remote site unnecessarily due to broadcast messages on your local network (which is often...
Well I think the problem has been solved since the ISDN router has been connecting ok lately. I had thought there was something wrong with the router so I picked up a used one off eBay. The replacement did the same thing so I called the ISP. They sent a message about the problem to MegaPop...
I went to my local BB on the way home Thursday and they had three. I didn't remember everything I read here so I went home and checked this posting again then went back and got one for $79.99+tax. Just opened it up and it only has heat sinks on one side, each side of the fan. The sticker on...
Ok I use the telnet alot to see if I am connected ok and how the router is setup. Now I understand what you mean by message codes. I always wondered what all the M# things were. When it trys to connect one of the M numbers shows connected but it is only one channel. I noticed when it did...
