Don't underestimate the stupidity of some thieves. A laptop at work was stolen about 4 years ago. They caught the guy a few weeks later after he brought it in for warranty service. I still remember this incident, 'cause I was one of the few people in the building at the time, so the police...

Poll: Does being an anime fan == nerdiness?

If anime-fan = nerd, does being staff at an anime convention = uber-nerd? I've still got my t-shirt from AnimExpo 92 or 93. :) Is being a nerd really that bad? Maybe it's all in the semantics, but I figured being a nerd meant you had to be pretty smart... Maybe this is getting off topic, but...

Do you wear capris?

Dude, almost a decade of dating high-maintenance girls teaches you a thing or two about fashion. My last g/f would get pissed 'cause I'd tell her a particular outfit just did not work. Hm.. maybe that's why I'm single now. :) I could never lie and say "wow, that looks great!!!"

Do you wear capris?

It depends on the girl's legs. If she's pretty thin, they look alright. But, if she's a little thick, capris only make her legs look that much shorter. I'd say the majority of girls can't pull them off... although it's not quite as bad as seeing big girls wearing low-rise pants.

1. Be prepared to bump shoulders with anyone walking by. The basic concept of turning your shoulder or moving slightly over to make space doesn't exist there. I was kinda surprised the first time it happened to me. 2. There's no such thing as lines. Just make your way up to the front counter...

Wohaaaaa I can dunk again!!!

About a year ago, I could touch the rim... Cut back to the present, I just started playing ball again a few weeks ago... Jumped up for the rim and was only about 2 inches away... Cool, I didn't lose much of my vert... Until someone comes over and tells me it's one of those 9 and a half foot...

SUMMA CUM LAUDE, MAGNA CUM LAUDE, CUM LAUDE....what exactly do these mean and are they prestigious?

I always thought grad school grades were higher... I think the average GPA for a class was around 3.4 or 3.5. Of course, grades stopped mattering once you got your bachelors... it's all about your research and/or paper...
