Weird issue that I'm not sure is just specific to my rig. For some reason running Core Temp causes DPC latency spikes. No idea why it would be doing this but it definitely is Core Temp that is causing it. Peaks at 1399 using DPC Latency Checker.
My understanding was that Windows assigned threads to cores and tried to load level or optimize core usage. So why is it that when I'm running GW2(I'm sure this applies to other games as well) that only 3-4 of my 8350's cores are ever really used? GW2 has 57 threads while in game according to...
Figured I'd go ahead and post my results with my 8350. Now I do have a bunch of items(monitors and printers etc.) plugged in to the powerstrip that I had plugged in to Kill-A-Watt but they were all running at the same time so the results are what they are.
I use three different power...
What's really ass backwards is that many games released now are just not a finished product. May be due to the complexity of the games now but still. Getting a game that works completely out of the box seems to be rare these days.

Why not? Have AMD have...

My god.. Thoroughbred.. That takes me back..
Idontcare, out of curiosity what sort of background do you have with this. For me it's just a hobby hence my ignorance in a lot of areas. And thank you for the detailed answer.
So I guess their is "hope" that Bulldozer can be fixed after all...
Are the revision\stepping changes a result of strictly manufacturing process improvements then? So it's GloFo that makes these changes then and not AMD?
