The 990FX Extreme4 board even includes a floppy connector, proof that ASRock has thought of everything. Floppies are still handy for flashing bios and transferring small files. An alternative solution for the majority of current mobos which don't have this is to use an "external" USB floppy...

Some software have intricate interfaces and you can go blind trying to work with them. In my own case I would cite CGI animation programs like Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya. There are times when I even lose track of the cursor. A BIG screen is most welcome. sbrowne

This is just the boombox attachment, and it sells pretty cheap on eBay. You still have to buy the receiver and attach it to start listening. SBB

WALMART $5.50 FOR HOT DVD TITLES

The bin also has BASIC INSTINCT, unrated (NC-17) version. I wouldn't expect to find NC-17 DVDs in Wal-Mart. Steve

Refurb cuisinart Ciffeemaker 44 +ship

On checking the smartbargains site, I see that this coffeemaker is listed as the "Brew Center". The model I bought last year (from smartbargains) is the DCC-1200, which they list separately, at the same price. I can only vouch for the DCC-1200. Steve

Refurb cuisinart Ciffeemaker 44 +ship

I bought one of these (refurbished) a year and a half ago, and it is great. It beats other coffeemakers I've had because it puts out enough watts to really get the water hot - makes for a good brew - and then keep the coffee hot (adjustable setting to your liking). Cuisinart makes quality...

The most interesting thing to me is that both Fedex and UPS generally transport packages even faster than claimed. For instance, my latest newegg order, placed on 10/12, shipped UPS,,arrived in Albuquerque (80 miles from me) on 10/13. That's TOO early, so they let it sit, and it will be...

That probably varies by region/driver/etc. I've never had Fedex leave a package (when I wasn't at home), but I have had UPS leave a $200 calculator outside in plain sight while I was at school once... Neither company is supposed to leave a package unsigned for unless you have a letter of...

Fedex Express Saver always reaches me (near Santa Fe, NM) a day ahead of schedule, and FAST - usually the third business day after order. The last time I ordered from Newegg (last week) Fedex was still cheaper than UPS. Steve

Citizen Mens Eco-Drive Chronograph 179+9 ship

Be aware, though, that ecost adds a "processing & handling charge" which they don't tell you about until the last page of checkout. This is a solar-powered watch. I went with Seiko Kinetic, which is arm-motion powered. They both require no batteries.
