Very unusual problem...

It was the network cards, I replaced them with these 3coms and wow, very very fast. I will never ever use linkpoop or netgay nics again:)

Very unusual problem...

Well, I can not figure this problem out. I can go form the desktop to my laptop very fast, transfering 6.5 gigs takes about 15 minutes. To transfer files from here to my file server, or another desktop on the same cable, diff nics takes about 200 minutes. I am going to try a differant cable...

I only got one card hooked up as of right not, I assure you everything is set properly. I will see if there is anything in the bios.

Very unusual problem...

I have all sides set to 100FD, always have. I am going to change my oil, and then mess with it afterwards, most likly reset the switch and try newer drivers, my cat5/crimpers/ends are not here, I borrowed them out:/

Very unusual problem...

I will try a direct cable connection later, there is no reason it should not work, I have a very good switch. The nic is in the sweet spot already, onboard raid and usb 2/3/4 is disabled, along with paralell and serial, it is suppose to be a file server. I am copying the files over the network...

God Hates Me!

Again, YMMV, because someone was able to OC and power a computer with a 200 watt unit does not mean much in my books. Most review sites that do thier overclocking and whatnot, only have a setup for a short time, nothing like some of us where we will or need it to go a year or more, some of us...

What P4 chip is this?

Yeah, Iw as going to say take a tooth brush, and some acetone to it, intel is VERY good about markign thier chips, so is AMD, especially since the early days.
