yeah, but you also have to take the speed into account. 256 at 800-- 128 at 1350, granted ATI still has a speed advantage by a couple of hundred mhz, but the way you state it makes it sound like it is 2 to 1

I agree again,I've heard(no links or spy knowledge)the R600 should be significantly better in next gen games,but heat is a problem and they are working on it.If Dammit could steal some of Nv's thunder with some leaked benches,don't you think they would,unless they can't due to not being ready...

Core 2 Extreme has essentially the same "real world" performance as FX62

The review is real world alright.Like where they state We had the internal/external shadows set to 5 on intel ,but amd couldn't run it so we turned it down to 3 for the amd. Or how they used the 965 chipset instead of 975. And then bottleneck the gpu.Well it kept AMD looking competitive if...

So, does the 7950GX2 count as a single card solution?

G80 not SM4 Compliant?

Back in march Faud said the G80 missed it's first tapeout. Today he says the first one is coming up. It keeps the forums busy but it does get tiresome after a while.

Old School! Atari 2600 problem.

3D Nature and Partners Declare ATI drivers Unsuitable for Professional Visualization

This is the question I've been wondering why no one has asked. If they fix this problem,will this negate the advantage Nvidia has in ogl games?Or is there more to it than that?
